I got a slow start this morning since I was sleath camped in a nice, quiet spot, and I stayed in my tent reading for a while. Once I finally got going, I made it up to an overlook for second breakfast, and then up to another one for lunch. I passed the 900 mile mark there and it had a beautiful view.

I laid in the shade reading again for a while this afternoon. There were no milkshakes today so I had no motivation. I got into camp at Bearfence Mountain Hut just before dark but I’d already stopped for dinner earlier so I could go right to bed. 18.3 miles today.
