Black Moshannon State Park

Kelly and I headed out to Black Moshannon State Park for a couple days of camping and hiking.  Sunday was supposed to be sunny but it unexpectedly dawned cloudy and flurrying.  The snow was off and on, but we did end up getting some short windows of sun.  We did a 13 mile loop around the park, mostly on the Moss-Hanne Trail, but throwing in some other trails and short road walks to complete the loop. A lot of the trail was soggy, but I managed to keep my feet dry. It was very cold, in the 20s for most of the day, so we couldn’t stop for long breaks or our hands and feet would start to freeze. Time to get my insulated boots out instead of my mesh trail runners.
