I started the day with an lavender epsom salts bath, a giant breakfast, and some much needed computer time. We got a late checkout to finish up some gear cleaning and repair, and then went to resupply and grab lunch before heading back to the trail.
I hit the 1500 mile marker fairly quickly, and stopped at Winton Canyon Creek for some blackberries. Then it was a little bit farther to fill up on water at Burstarse Creek, my favorite name so far, and on to dry camp at Disappearing Creek, which has in fact already disappeared this season.
9.7 miles today.
