Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller

Jenn and I and the Mountain Dog met Rich in Vermont today, at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park. I had never heard of it, but it’s a great little park right outside the town of Woodstock, with many trails for snowshoeing and skiing. We did 5 or 6 miles, on and off trail, including going over the frozen pond called The Pogue. Today was supposed to be absolutely frigid but hiking at the lower elevation, it was just fine.

Me on The Pogue – I find water to be scary so this was pretty exciting for me. Walking across a very shallow frozen pond. Yep.

  1. Love the second dog pic! When are you starting the PCT, and you’re going to be blogging it right?

  2. I want to take Foster home with me!
