Bridal Veil Falls

We did a short hike out to Bridal Veil Falls today. Tim and the Mountain Dog and I took the Coppermine Trail up. It was very well traveled, so spikes were just fine, no snowshoes necessary. The trail climbed slowly, only about 1200′ in 2.5 miles. There’s a shelter just before the falls, and someone had built a snow cave there. That’s something I still want to do this winter so I checked out the construction. We hung out at the falls for a bit and then headed back.

  1. Be careful in those caves!!! Don’t want you to get stuck in there.

  2. I love the close up of the icicles. Very pretty!
