On the way back to dropping me off in Salt Lake City, we stopped in Mill Creek Canyon and hiked the Desolation Trail to the city overlook, a little over two miles each way. It involved lots of switchbacks but was very packed down and didn’t require snowshoes. The city was covered in smog today, and it was quite windy on the rocks, so we didn’t stay long. There were great views along the whole trail though.
After the hike, Jigsaw dropped me off at a couchsurfer’s house and headed home.
